Jade grew up having a love for all things birth and baby related. After having her own children, Jade became passionate about helping other women feel confident and supported in their birthing experiences. Jade has a non-judgmental approach to birth and values the time she spends getting to know clients before they go into labor. She has a kind, calming presence and a friendly demeanor, and is eager to use her years of experience to support you and your growing family. Since 2014, Jade has been practicing as a certified labor doula through ProDoula and is a DONA International trained birth doula. She also has experience in bereavement and postpartum doula care. Jade enjoys life with her husband and three school-aged children. She enjoys creating art, reading, and watching movies with her family.

Sara-Marie began serving women, birthing people, and families during their childbearing years in 2007, when she was working on her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Michigan. She’s passionate about helping birthing people have safe and satisfying birth experiences and empowering fathers and partners to be active participants in birth. Sara-Marie loves listening to women and their families share their goals and priorities in childbirth and then helping them accomplish those goals. Sara-Marie strives to provide high-quality and personal doula services, tailored just to you. She values communication, compassion, teamwork, and practicality.

Sara-Marie has had the opportunity to serve a very diverse clientele, tailoring doula support to each person’s unique preferences and desires. She has served birthing people and families desiring natural childbirth in the hospital setting, at home, adoption situations, families from a range of religious backgrounds, and people living with special needs and medical conditions. When she’s not serving families, she enjoys living with her rascal of a cat Captain and can be found adventuring with her nephew, making memories with loved ones, laughing, and drinking coffee.

Sara-Marie is trained through DONA and ProDoula. She is certified through Lifespan Doulas.
